Here is an exercise we sometimes do at the end of the year or the beginning. However, taking time for daily introspection is a great habit to get into.
Our dating time is not a risk-free project. We must not go head first without protecting certain essential parts of our lives.
It is not easy to give up our desires, by denying our flesh. Of course, we want to remain in God’s good graces, but the challenge is great. Fortunately, the Bible gives us the solution to this.
During a prayer meeting in 1865, Elvina Hall wrote a poem inspired by the redemptive power of Christ’s sacrifice. Her writing paired with the music of John Grape, the church organist, became a liberating hymn.
A glass of cold water on a hot day is a relief! A small, simple service that can make a big difference. That is what our Heavenly Father encourages us to do toward each other.
Doing what God wants is very important. But God doesn’t want little robots. He also wants our actions to be accompanied by a good attitude.
