After a painful failure or a motivating sermon, we often decide to change this or that. But most of the time it doesn’t last. Why do our bad habits come back?
We look at the walls of our bedroom, and we start dreaming. And if we had more of this, or more of that. Now, if we believe that having more will get us anywhere, we ought to study the story of Solomon.
When we give our lives to God, we become members of the same Body. And we are not united only on Sunday mornings! Even the decisions we make during the week, alone at home, have an impact on the Body of Christ.
Are we ready to turn our backs on sin and follow Jesus? He will give us the strength to do what He has called us to do.
This challenge we face takes over our thoughts. So much so that it can prevent us from sleeping or finding appropriate solutions. Worry suffocates us: we have to get rid of it!
A glass of cold water on a hot day is a relief! A small, simple service that can make a big difference. That is what our Heavenly Father encourages us to do toward each other.
It’s easy to get distracted by our desires and dreams, or even by conflicts and problems. Besides, there is nothing wrong with working at these earthly things, but on the condition that you have first pursued God, daily.
When we are dating, we are often afraid that this relationship will end dramatically. So we are walking on eggshells. However, if we fix our eyes on the Lord, we will find the courage to be ourselves.
